Christmas holidays… Not quite. Think I’ve done my fair share of not sitting on my ass all day playing Call of Duty 6 (despite how awesome it is).
My friend who used to play in The 5150′s has a new band called The Last To Fall. We descended to some pizza basement and shot away.
By far the funniest bloody shoot I’ve had in a long time, not picture funny just crude and belly aching jokes funny!

Just a quick update!
Had some nice gigs to shoot over the last week.

We also released our second issue of Soundscape Magazine online. Filled with interviews, reviews, all good stuff! And things are only looking better! If you haven’t noticed by now most the gigs i shoot will be for Soundscape Magazine. Only odd gigs are me working for promoters freelance.

So… a few of us have been brewing on some ideas and thoughts and after working our butt’s off in this industry for the last few years we’ve decided to start something of our own and might have a fresh new Welsh webzine in the works for you.
We’ve decided on this for various reasons…
-We’re sick of having to depend on other people (who haven’t the slightest clue on welsh music).
-We’re sick of unhonest reviews and biased at that matter too.
-We want something thats based musically around the going’s on in Wales but will cover all sorts of genres/concerts and maybe alternative interests (say prehaps rock fashion).
-We basically want somewhere to show off peoples skills and enthusiasm.
The webzine will be run by local photographers, reviewers and musicians, we will all be devoting a chunk of our social life into this and we hope to turn it into a major project.
We are therefor looking for the views of you, the reader and for people who wish to help.
We’re torn between doing a blog-esque webzine which will be updated when ever we can or to do a monthly online magazine (which to be honest most of us prefer), but your the audience, you tell us what you want !
As for contributors, we will need people all across Wales;
Photographers
Reviewers – CD’s, Gigs, Online/Alternative Interests
Interviewers
People to do features on – Up Coming Bands, Designers, Band Fashion/Tattoo’s, Guitar Tech
Editors
Of course (like most things we do in this industry) we will all be working for free.
I will actually have to pay out my own pocket to get the site started, which i’m happy to do
aslong as the people are there to help/read.
Please, please send any thoughts, whether we should do this or not, if we’re idiots, or any ideas, what you’d like to see, if you’d like to help, all sorts.
